Winter Architecture is an award-winning minimalist practice, established in 2016 and based in Torquay, Victoria, with projects across Victoria, New South Wales, and Tasmania. The practice is grounded in a deep respect for the natural world, where each design emerges from a thoughtful understanding of its site and context. Architecture is approached as a sensory experience, focusing on the tactile qualities of materials, the interplay of light and shadow, and the subtle shaping of space that influences human experience. Each project is a refined balance of simplicity and meaning, with every detail carefully crafted to evoke a sense of calm and permanence. Winter Architecture creates spaces that resonate deeply with their users, fostering an enduring connection between people, place, and time.
